Kellerberrin

Keller does tend to be the focus in our area for horse activities, it has always been a horse orientated town with a strong trotting fraternity. Several years ago the trotting clubs in the region decided to amalgate and focus their efforts upon more and improved race meetings at the Kellerberrin track . Contact person for the Central Wheatbelt Harness Racing Club is Jenna Saunders . 0429 058 793. http://www.harness.org.au/kellerb/

Kellerberrin Pony Club usually has around 30 riding members with approx. 25 at most rallies. We usually have quite a range of ages from very littlies to 25 years. Most riders achieve their C certificate with many going on to C* and occaisionally B. Other club activities include polocrosse, Prince Phillip Mounted Games, annual gymkhana, annual One Day Event ( July School Holidays, grades E - A, attracting 100+ entries) . The facilities at Kellerberrin include Club house, horse yards, dressage arenas, jumping arena, quality competition and training jumping equipment,  20 x 40 m enclosed arena , and 20 x 40 m all weather undercover arena with viewing gallery and attached ablution block, including wheelchair facilities.   We are very fortunate to have plenty of support from the menfolk  and a good social side to the club.
