No Agistment Centres although it is quite possible to find a spare un-used paddock on the outskirts of town. Most horse owners have their own property hence no need for Agistment Centres.

No specific trails set out but some of the roads on the outside of town are quiet to ride on as you will set many horse riders do. Along the Railway Line (dirt track, access road) is very common. Places like Mt Brown is fun, or ride the several kilometres out to Gwambygine, check out the Avon River via the look-out, out there.
Local Pony Club with also monthly hack shows at York Horsemans, offering Ledline, Unofficial & Official Hacking. York Agriculture Show with horse events, York Racetrack & York Trotting Club.
One local vet (small/large animals) although for more specific Equine needs there is Gill of Avon Valley Equine Vets 0418943064 that do property visits. With the added bonus of having a portable crush, a must need for us horse owners that may not be able to transport our horse into the Vet Clinic. There are also another two vets in Northam, A Country Practice 08 96227479, Northam Veterinary Clinic 08 96221000 & one in Bakers Hill, Bakers Hill Vet Clinic 08 95741061.
Several local (& non local that make regular pre-booked visits) Farriers, Horse Dentist etc.
No Stockfeed Store as such in York however two of the Rural stores stock a small amount of chaffs, pellet feeds.
Main Stockfeeders is in Northam, Northam Feed & Hire 08 96223637, they offer a large range of horse feed (as well as feed for cats, dogs, sheep, goats, birds etc), horse tack, rugs, veterinary stuff etc.
